Hudson Yards + Outfit

Yesterday, I went and explored Hudson Yards! Hudson Yards officially opened on Friday and it was so exciting to see it all in person! I explored the shops and climbed the Vessel, and had the perfect Sunday.

Jacket (Home Made!)  / Pants / Sneakers / Sunglasses / Bag (old)

The Vessel (the crazy futuristic metal staircase) was absolutely crazy to see in person. It's cool to see a new New York landmark coming to life. The structure is made up a 154 connecting flights of stairs with small landings in between each.

Because there are so many landings and things to see the Vessel never felt crowded even though there were a lot of people exploring. Tickets are free, but you have to reserve them. Every day at 8am, tickets go on "sale" for two weeks in advance as well as a few same day times.

Right next to the Vessel are the shops! There are a few "malls" in New York like The Shops at Colombus Circle or Brookfield Place, but this was something else. There are so many stores and restaurants it really feels like a true mall, which I love.

As great as shopping in New York is, I definitely miss heading to the mall and doing all my shopping in one place. One of the most exciting parts of the shops is Neiman Marcus! I'm so excited that Neiman Marcus finally has a store in New York!

There are also some amazing restaurant options. I can't wait to try Queensyard (view of the Vessel is so cool!), Estiatorio Milos and Kawi.

Enough ranting about how excited I am about the newest shopping experience in New York. Let's talk outfit!

For the first time since probably 6th grade, I'm wearing jeans that aren't skinny jeans. I've been on the hunt for a pair of wide legged pants and found these white ones and fell in love with them! I paired them with a denim jacket that I made (!!) and a simple grey turtleneck.

I made this denim jacket last year and never wore it because I didn't love the fit of the jacket. Last weekend I found it at my house in New Jersey and decided to trim the bottom so it was a little more cropped. Now, I love it! I am hoping to write up a post about how I made it soon!

  2. Of all the silk and satin fabrics that are used to make clothing and lingerie silk taffeta is probably the only one that is associated with sound. luxury sleepwear A suspender belt trimmed in the same sumptuous lace and delicate satin bows or rosebuds is sure to add an even stronger accent of femininity to such a beautiful lingerie set too.
