L'Occitane x Rifle Paper Co.

Hand Cream (One of the three in the trio!)

I am so excited that two of my favorite brands have collaborated! I have been a huge fan of Rifle Paper Co. for a long time since I am a huge fan of paper goods. I have a recipe box from them that I love for when I find a recipe that needs to stay in my repertoire forever! L'Occitane sells my favorite hand creams. I never thought the two brands would work together since they focus on totally different markets, but I'm so glad they did. The result of the collaboration is beautifully designed products.

Gameday Style

One of my favorite parts about the fall semester is gamedays.  At SMU, tailgating is elevated and referred to as "Boulevarding." It's so much fun and I'll definitely miss it when I graduate. For each Boulevard, finding the right outfit is key, so I thought it would be fun to share some of the outfits I've worn this year since most of them haven't made an appearance on the blog yet.

The New Look

Dash of Serendipity got a makeover!!! I am so excited that this new look is finally live! The blog has needed a facelift for a long time and it's hard to believe I started working on this new design with Kelly at Kiki & Co at the start of the summer! I'm hoping that this new design will make things a little easier with the new menu tabs and easier access to old post through the search feature.

Excuse me while I sort out a few kinks and get everything settled, but I hope you are all as excited as I am about this new era of Dash of Serendipity! I can't wait!

Current Skincare Routine

I'll be the first to admit that when it comes to skincare, my routine is kind of all over the place. I'm pretty neglectful when it comes to skincare, and it is something I'm constantly trying to be more mindful of.  Recently, I've done a good job of reminding myself to take off my makeup every night and put on the products I have, and I can say that it's made such a difference in how my skin looks.

I have been really impressed with a few of the products that I have been using and thought it would be fun to share what I've been doing with y'all! If you're looking for a really low key and simple skincare routine, this is for you!

TruSkin Vitamin C Serum

I stumbled upon this serum on Amazon that's only $20 and has over 5,000 pretty positive reviews.  People say that helped them with a multitude of different things, but I personally wanted to see if it would even out my skin tone, reduce acne scars, and overall make my skin look a lot healthier.  It's fun reading the reviews because people rave about it improving their wrinkles, under eye circles and so much more!
