I Graduated College!

On Saturday, I graduated from Southern Methodist University! It was an exciting weekend and I don't know if it has hit me yet that I am finished. I'm planning on writing a post reflecting on my four years in Dallas, but for now, I wanted to share what I was planning on wearing for the ceremony.

I say planning because I ended up ripping the sleeve of this dress during photos while throwing my cap in the air! Off the shoulder dresses are cute, but arm movement is limited haha. 

Europe Packing List

A few days after graduation some of my friends and I are headed to Europe for a little over a week. I am so excited to head back to London and Paris and explore Amsterdam for the first time! It'll be a fun week to explore, learn and celebrate graduation.

It's been hard to think about what I'm going to pack for the trip because I've been putting all my focus on finals, packing up, and graduation, but I did order a few things online last week to kick off my packing.

I am planning on bringing a lot of layers because I know the weather in the places I'll be traveling to can be pretty mild this time of year and may call for a light jacket most days.

Here are some of the pieces that have been inspiring the outfits I'm picking out as I pack:

Pink Jacket

The first thing I have put in my suitcase for my trip to Europe in a few weeks was this jacket. I get so much wear out of it and I'm so happy I bought it from Zara last summer. I don't think it's available anymore, but I found a pretty similar one online. 

I love these jeans (also from Zara!) and I am so on board with the emphasis on the side hem that is trending in denim right now. Zara has so many options for jeans like this, it was hard to walk away from the store without another pair. I also love these with a green side stripe!

May Wishlist

To celebrate the beginning of May, I am sharing my current wishlist! I finally feel like spring is in full swing in stores and the colorful warm weather clothes are screaming my name. To be honest, it's been warm in Dallas for a while now, but the rest of the world is finally catching up on the beautiful weather. 

Casual Gingham

This has been my go-to outfit recently. If I'm going to class or running to grab a meal quickly this is what I'll throw on. I will admit, I normally hate shorts. Am I the only one? I've been trying to add a few more pairs to my wardrobe, but I am definitely picky about the shorts I like. They are so practical though and these are just too fun. 

Wrapped Up

I wore this dress for a senior brunch for my sorority and it was the perfect dress for the occasion. I am so glad I stumbled upon it while looking at Bloomingdales, because it has been great for a lot of events this spring. With graduation coming up, I will have plenty of opportunities to wear it.
