Restaurant Spotlight: Industry Kitchen NYC

Last Friday I treated myself to a ferry trip instead of heading out of the city on the PATH train (basically the subway) like I normally do.  I was a little lost because my maps app wasn't working, but ended up wandering down by South Street Seaport and found the cutest, basically waterfront restaurant.  There was loud music playing and the atmosphere looked adorable.

So, on Tuesday I met a few friends for dinner after work at the cute spot.  Even on a Tuesday this place was just as crowded and fun.  The atmosphere was great and everything we ordered was tasty.

I feel like this is such a hidden gem because the views were great (also great for people watching) and the prices were pretty decent too.  In a lot of NYC restaurants, if the view is great the prices skyrocket, but not at this restaurant.

I ordered mussels, which were really amazing and fresh.  It was probably the best pot of mussels I've had in awhile.  But to start, my friends and I shared the ricotta and artichoke dips.  They were equally as delicious.

I really had such a hard time deciding what to order because everything just looked delicious! From pizza and pasta to salad and avocado toast, this restaurant had something for everyone.

We perfectly watched the sun begin to set before heading back home.  I'll definitely be going back for more food!
