A Coffee Date with... Yep It's Prep!

I'm so excited to finally be posting the second edition of my interview series, "A Coffee Date with...".  I posted my first edition about two months ago (you can find that here), so this has been a long time coming.  I am more thrilled to share my interview with Isabella, the blogger behind Yep It's Prep!  Her blog has been one of my favorites for awhile now and I don't miss a day without checking what she has posted! Outfit after outfit, Isabella's sense of style never fails, and I'm so excited to have her on DoS today!

First off, since we're on a "coffee date", what is your go-to at starbucks?

I either get a tall iced green tea with two Splendas, or hot chocolate with extra whipped cream, depending on the weather! I'm not a coffee drinker... Whenever I need caffeine, I drink Diet Coke.  I'm trying to quit drinking it since it's so bad for you.  I've actually not had any in two weeks! We'll see how long it lasts.  I'm trying to make it through lent.

Where did your blog title come from?

It came from my tumblr URL, which came from pure boredom.  I started my tumblr about a year ago, and I wanted a short and sweet URL that people would remember, so I chose "yepitsprep." Also, I like things that rhyme!

You always have the greatest outfit posts.  Is there anyone specifically that you draw inspiration for your outfits from?

I get most of my inspiration through reading my favorite blogs and keeping up with my favorite bloggers on instagram.  Some of my favorites are: Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam, Carly Heitlinger from The College Prepster, Kate from A Lonestar State of Southern, Emily Helm from Life With Emily, and Caitlin Covington from Southern Curls & Pearls. 

From your blog it's clear that you love button downs.  What's your favorite way to wear one?

I love button downs shirts so much! They're comfortable classic and versatile.  I love wearing pastel colored button downs with white jeans in the spring! I try to wear them as much as possible in the winter and early spring months, because it gets way too hot in the sumer to wear them where I live.  They don't pair well with 100 degree temperatures and humidity.

If you could only choose one social media platform to be on from now on, which would it be?

Proabably tumblr.  It's where I started blogging and sharing photos, and I've also made some very cool friends through tumblr.  I'm pretty much addicted.  

While hanging around the house you'll probably find me wearing... 

There's a very, very good chance that you'd find me wearing an oversized tee and running shorts.  I practically live in running shorts.

What's one thing you don't think you could survive college without?

Good friends.  I'm so blessed that I've found a group of really good people to surround myself with after transferring colleges this year, and I don't know what I'd do without them!

What has been one of your favorite experiences while blogging so far? 

Guest blogging and being able to be part of interviews like this one! I've only guest blogged once (and this is my first interview), but I think it's so much fun!
