9 perfect school bags

Well it's August, which means it's time to start thinking about school again.  (I know I said it, please don't kill me!).  Back to school can be exciting or it can be a let down as it marks the end of summer.  Though, one of the most exciting things that comes with the start of school is the back to school shopping.

I'm personally a fan of using a tote bag as my school bag.  In college it's even nicer having a smaller tote bag because it doubles as a purse.  I keep everything in it (keys, wallet, etc) and can run errands in between classes.  Having a tote is also great because I always make sure to have one that will fit all my books (for those horrible nights in the Library), but can also conveniently just store a few books on lighter days.

My current bag for my books is the Tory Burch York Tote.  It's a really great bag for school because it's big enough and also has a convenient padded divider in the center that's perfect for a laptop.

Also, I've redone the blog! Have you noticed? I spent most of Saturday night playing around with things after deciding I was tired of the old one.  Let me know what you think!

  2. I love your new blog design; it is so simple and chic. I'm a backpack girl when it comes to school, but I love all these totes for travel! Thanks for sharing!

  3. All these bags are so gorgeous! I actually used a North Face backpack when I was in college because I knew that the amount of supplies and books I had to carry around with me would destroy any nice bag I was carrying around. But I did carry around a separate purse/tote for daily essentials. I did recently buy a longchamp, though, for errands/performances this year :)

    1. That's such a good idea, Jasmine! If I used a regular backpack I probably would carry around a tote too!

  4. I love all of these bags! I usually use a North Face pink backpack because I have to carry both my school and teaching materials, but whenever I go to the library I like to carry my Vineyard Vines tote. Your new blog design is adorable!

  5. That scalloped tote from Tuckernuck is to die for...the price, on the other hand, not so much! I'm going to have to add that one to a wishlist to save up for!

    1. Ugh, I know! It's so adorable but the price isn't. It's definitely a splurge item, unfortunately!
