8 Things I'm Looking Forward to in 2018

I'm hopeful that 2018 will be a great year. While I did start the year off by walking forcefully into a glass door before knocking myself out with NyQuil since I have a sinus infection, I'm pretty sure things can only go up from here.

There are so many exciting, and most likely life-changing things that will happen this year.

1. I'll be graduating college in May. That terrifies me and excites me at the same time. I'm excited to see what the future holds after graduation because at the moment I truly do not know.

2. After graduation, I will hopefully be getting a job, which is very exciting.

3. That job will hopefully be in New York, which means I will be leaving Dallas and moving to the city I've been dreaming of living in my entire life.

4. I have a lot of travel plans for the first few weeks of 2017 and would love to do more traveling as the year unfolds. I will be heading to San Antonio next weekend to celebrate one of my best friend's debutante and in February I will be heading to New Orleans for Mardi Gras!

5. This semester I planned my schedule so that I only have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, leaving me with four day weekends every single weekend. I am so excited to use this unique schedule to focus on blogging because I will probably never have a schedule like this again in my life!

6. I'm excited to really take care of my skin by pledging to always wash it and take off my makeup and stick to a nice routine. I've made a resolution to stop touching my face because I know that it just makes everything worse and is totally not worth it.

7. On that note, I really want to take care of my body by only eating healthy foods that will leave me feeling good and working out more often with the time off I will have in my schedule.

8. I am excited to read more. While I've been away in Florida the past few days I read a book and a half, which made me realize how much I love reading again. I definitely want to read more books this year so let me know if you have any recommendations!
