Navy Moto Jacket

It was so fun to spend part of the yesterday in the city. I love getting to head in for lunch and some shopping when I'm home. New York is full of great energy and life, which is really inspiring and empowering. Maybe that's weird, but I know I can't be the only one who feels that way. It's nice to see it again after a few months away.

My Mom and I went in for lunch at Cafe Clover in Greenwich Village, which was really good and really healthy too. (Perfect for the upcoming feast on Thursday!). After being out in the cold, I enjoyed some chicken bone broth which was delicious and served in a teapot, which was sort of cute!

After lunch, we took some photos before heading towards SoHo because I was on the hunt for a black denim skirt. The one I currently have is too big so I wanted to find one that would be great to wear out and was more fitted. I didn't find one that was 100% perfect but did find this one at Aritzia, which was a little longer than I would've liked. I think I will just cut about an inch of it off and it will be perfect. I love denim skirts with a raw hem because they are completely customizable in the length!

I have already written so much in this post and haven't even talked about my outfit yet at all!

This navy jacket is the best and I have already gotten so much wear out of it. I think that the price is pretty moderate for what it is too! I've gotten so many compliments while wearing it and know it will be so great to keep in my wardrobe for the rest of winter and even early spring before it gets too hot.
