Sporty Stripes

I have been living in my converse after purchasing them a few weeks ago! Up until then, I never gravitated towards sneakers.  I would always say, I'm not a "sneaker girl", but that's completely changed now.  My converse are so easy to slip on quickly.  I wore these with my favorite AG jeans, comfortable crew sweatshirt, field jacket, and my brothers baseball cap (stolen from my brother).  This outfit was perfect for running around town with my mom (yay for being home)! 

This is also my first outfit post with my new lens! As I mentioned in my most previous Friday Finds, I upgraded my lens to a 50mm f1.4 after realizing that my telephoto lens didn't make sense for outfit posts! I saw that Isabella (yep it's prep) recommended to Claire (precious as a peony) her lens and decided to head over to my local best buy to check it out! Of course, the guy in the store convinced me to get a different lens than I originally intended (it was more expensive and I am gullible).  Originally I went in to buy the 1.8f but he convinced me that the 1.4f might be better for the photos I am taking (although it is a little more pricey).  I ended up deciding to use some of the money I have been saving to splurge on the lens and I am so happy! Hopefully you'll be able to notice the difference in quality!
